MEET OUR STAFF - WALTER W. HARDY, PRESIDENT
Walter W. Hardy, founder and President of W. Hardy Interactive, Inc. is an Electrical Engineer with more than twenty years of experience in the industry. His career in interactive technology began in 1983 with graduate-level study in computer graphics and multimedia at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). After working as an engineer with IBM for five years, he later moved to New York City to work for a top interactive technology firm as developer and Executive Project Manager before the Internet became widely know. He produced IBM's interactive Point of Sale (POS) ThinkPad demos, and developed other interactive projects for firms including Chase, Konica and British Airways.
In 1995 as the web was beginning to take on a public presence, he formed W. Hardy Interactive to consult with key New York City ad agencies on interactive technology including Ogilvy & Mather, Foote, Cone & Belding, and DMB&B. He helped build one of the first Websites that tracked user activity in an Oracle database for TWA in 1996. He also built and managed interactive projects for Ford and IBM, and started several on-line travel destinations which became widely popular. Today, he consults with clients including Sun Microsystems and the National Park Service. He, along with his staff, have developed a significant portfolio of websites and technology products, and have built an advanced hosting facility with managed hosting for Sun Microsystems, Acadia National Park and others.
